Best Video Chat / Video Calls for Smartphones

videocalls.jpgMost people don't yet regularly use video calling on their smartphones, according to a recent PhoneDog poll. But the practice is becoming more common. You probably know that FaceTime, which allows face-to-face video calls, is built into the new iPhone 4. But in case you don't have an iPhone 4 yet, or are just looking for some other video chatting and calling options, what else is out there ?

Skype Mobile currently works on Verizon Wireless Androids and BlackBerries, though the company has promised to bring Skype to all Android phones later this year. Skype also has an iPhone app. Qik lets users record and share video from their mobile phones; over 140 phones are supported, including biggies like the iPhone and BlackBerry, and it's built into Sprint's HTC EVO 4G. And fring offers video calls and chat and works on iPhone, Androids, Nokia, and others.
