10 Tech Gifts for Everyone in the Family

A mom's work is never done, especially during the holidays. I'm getting a jump on my shopping with a list of cool tech gifts for everyone in the family. After all, I do work at Intel, I love technology, and everyone expects me to gift the cool gadgets. Hopefully my picks save you time. We elves need to stick together, you know. For a son:

How can you go wrong with the most popular tablet? Unlike St. Nick, the Apple iPad 2 is super, super thin. Plus it has front and rear cameras and an awesome battery life. You can even get it engraved for free if you buy directly from Apple.
Best: 3-D TV is so last year. If your man has been as good as mine, he deserves the Sony Internet TV. My husband Bill can watch the bowl games in one window while searching player stats and taunting his college buds in another. Be forewarned: it's better than mistletoe! ;-)

Good: I just bought the one called Pink Sparrow for my laptop. These are excellent gifts for girlfriends too!

Better: My fave is the DMP-BDT210. It's got full HD 3-D technology, built-in Wi-Fi, a simple user interface, and an excellent suite of streaming-media services. Perfect for watching It's a Wonderful Life on Christmas eve, of course.
Best: This year I might splurge on something really special. At only 2.43 pounds, the new ASUS Zenbook is light as a feather, but has a powerful 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor that gives it true heavyweight performance. This is one of my favorite Intel technology introductions of the year.
