4 Manly iPad Cases
A few months ago I bought an iPad. I love it. I feel like I'm holding some magical window to the future whenever I'm using it. One minute I can be reading a biography of Winston Churchill and the next I can be watching a free video lecture about Churchill on YouTube. And of course, the iPad is great for surfing the net, checking email, and playing games. Despite the heavy use my iPad gets, I still haven't put it in a protective case. I decided I should start my search for an iPad case in earnest after I saw my one year old son chunk my iPad onto the tile floor. Luckily, the iPad was unscathed, but who knows what kind of damage he can do the next time he get his menacing little baby hands on it.
Unfortunately, most of the iPad cases out on the market are pretty boring looking. I wanted a case that was both ruggedly handsome and functional. Below I've put together a list of four awesomely manly iPad cases to protect your iPad in style.

If Indiana Jones used an iPad, he'd carry his in an iPad case from the Saddleback Leather Company. Made from 100% full-grain, boot leather, these iPad cases come with Saddleback's 100 year guarantee. Your grandson can use this case to protect his iPad 10 from being damaged when he falls off his hover board. The case is designed to absorb impacts and will easily stand horizontally for those times you're watching Bridge Over the River Kwai while smoking your pipe. The case also has cut-outs for the two camera lenses on the the iPad 2, so you can snap photos while safariing on the Serengeti or while hiking the Andes without having to remove the iPad from its wrapping.
Saddleback offers a case that fits both the iPad and iPad 2.

If you're a man fond of scotchy, scotch, scotch, leather-bound books, and the smell of rich mahogany a la Ron Burgundy, then might we suggest the Book Book iPad case to protect your iPad? The Book Book case is designed to make your iPad look like an old, leather-bound book you'd find in the distinguished library of a gentleman scholar. The case zips up to protect your iPad when you're not using it. The Book Book's real book feel will make reading on your iPad even more enjoyable. The only downside to the Book Book iPad case is that there aren't any holes or slots for your iPad's cameras or speakers.
