Summer Fun With Extreme BBQing Videos

I am very pleased that the gentleman in that last video chose to wear his safety goggles. 

Are you in a huge hurry? Do you need that sausage in 20 seconds?

   

(Good lord people, please don't try that at home.) 

But extreme barbecuing can be more than just playing with fire. It can mean many things. Like this.

 

Let me give you this other example. Let's say you are having a party. I mean, a big party. Maybe you are celebrating the return of the NFL. You invite over a few friends. Then they invite over a few of their friends. Then those friends invite over a couple people. Then your teenage triplets flyer the mall and mention that The Avett Brothers might be playing there. You are going to need a lot of barbecue for this party. What do you do? WHAT DO YOU DO? You buy one of these:

   

Or maybe it is a much smaller party, like an extended family reunion and you only need eighteen full sized briskets.

 

I would like to make a few suggestions for your extreme barbecuing attempts. First, be smart about it. This is fire we're talking about. Don't be this guy.

   

There is no way that this man got to keep his eyebrows. Somehow even watching all of that extreme barbecue madness I still have a hankering for some pulled pork. Did I just use the word hankering? Weird. Maybe my inner redneck is emerging. I can tell because I really want one of these for my next extreme BBQ.

   

I would be the coolest mom on the block. I would be better than the ice cream man because I would take people for rides. That would probably just solidify my reputation as the crazy neighbor. I don't care. A motorized picnic table is awesome and you guys know it! I could cruise up to the pool eating some ribs. Mmmm. Ribs. That is it. I am going to have to cut this short. I need to run up to the store so I can get something on the smoker for dinner. Oh yeah, we bought a brand new smoker for our extreme barbecuing needs this year. I'm thinking something Carolina style.
