It's that time year of again, and I have to admit I'm a bit jealous of all those students sharpening their pencils and picking out their classes for the upcoming school year. Every year when freshmen head off to school, they will inevitably have a huge range of gadgets available to them, but it can be hard to know which ones will actually prove useful, and which ones will stand up to the beating they might receive in a rowdy, collegiate setting. Design*Sponge is a daily website dedicated to home and product design run by Brooklyn-based writer, Grace Bonney.
