7 Internet TV Shows to Make You Laugh & Cry
By Lindsay Maddox (from Designer Wife) on April 14, 2011
Between running all over the city for meetings, social gatherings in the
evenings, traveling too much, and trying to conquer the Mount Wash Me
laundry pile, I just can't find time to sit down, zen out, and watch
some TV. Let's face it, DVR only works when you have time to catch up on
all of your recordings in a timely manner. Usually, by the time I'm
able to squeeze in one episode, my DVR is already maxed out at 100%
capacity. So, I just delete everything, unwatched, for fear of not
having room to record another episode... that I'll never watch. Vicious
cycle. Happily, the Internet has graced us with a plethora of options for watching all of the mindless TV we care to cram in to our precious little noggins. Find out what new city some rich, shallow, catty housewives are in from the comfort of my coach class window seat? Done! Get my daily does of Michael Scott by watching reruns of The Office over morning coffee at Starbucks? You betcha! But...
What about those gems that you can't find on prime time? There are hundreds of fantastically interesting, funny, dramatic and informational web series, or "webisodes," that can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere from the comfort of your Internet connection. These bite sized shows are a perfect fit in to a busy schedule. No matter what kind of entertainment you're craving, there's definitely a webisode to satisfy it.
