By Mike Chino (from Inhabitat) on November 2, 2010
Energy-efficient lighting has advanced by leaps and bounds over the past
several years, and no place has the pace of technological splendor been
more stunning than in the case of the LEDs. These brilliant little
light sources are extraordinarily energy-efficient, emit very little
heat, and can shine for up to 19 years -
that's 40 times longer than incandescent bulbs. Even better, as they
enter the consumer market, innovation is really taking hold -- today's
LED's are dimmable, offer selectable shades of white to
balance your interior decor, and are available in an incredible array
of shapes and sizes. Without further ado, read on for our 7 favorite LED
desk lamps!
