25 Under $100, Gifts For Him
By Kate Pruitt (from Design Sponge) on November 16, 2010
In my last post,
I rounded up some of my favorite gift ideas for the ladies, and I'm
hoping it inspired you all to get a head start on holiday gift shopping.
Lest you males out there begin to feel left out, here is a list of my
25 favorite gifts for the guys, all under $100 and all super awesome.
Like my ladies' list, this guide explores a range of gift types. There are fun novelties, practical workhorse items, and of course I couldn't resist included a few well designed home accessories. There should be something for everyone on your gift list, and don't forget to snag a few treasures for yourself.
I consider myself to be open minded and all inclusive when it comes to gender, and in my opinion there are many crossover options on both the "Him" and "Her" lists. I would argue that none of these gifts are exclusively male, except maybe the Geek pen. Side note: what is it with dudes and lasers? I feel that I have enough anecdotal evidence to write a lengthy behavioral study on this issue, but I'll spare you the agony of that for now.
As a woman, I have to use my years of observation when determining what the Y-chromosomes of the world might like. This list probably reveals my assumption that most men like to tinker with things, play with lasers, and value functionality over frills when it comes to design. I must confess that this is my understanding of the male mind. I'd love to hear of any items you think I've left out.
Calling all men--what gifts would you like to receive most for the holidays?
