Best Real Estate Apps and Sites

In the process of moving? These sites and apps won't make packing easier, but they may just help you find your new home.
You may already be familiar with Zillow,
which provides tons of real estate resources for home buyers and
sellers, renters, and home owners: property searches, mortgage quotes,
neighborhood guides, and more. The Zillow iPad app gives users a closer look at available properties.
Zip Realty lets you search real estate listings for houses, condos, land, and other properties in your area; its app (iPhone/iPad, free) lets you find homes near you for sale (and you can see what's sold recently, and for how much).
Trulia includes listings for properties for sale and rent, and its free iPhone app can alert you to nearby open houses. If you're in the process of searching for a home, the Home Tracker app helps you keep track of the properties you've already visited and rate them as you go along (iPhone, $3.99).
Rentometer
lets you compare your rent (what you're paying or charging tenants) to
other properties in the area--know if you're getting a good deal or
shelling out too much. RentometerPro,
with plans starting at $9.95/month, is aimed at owners who need to
manage their properties--it helps post listings, collect rent, and
screen potential tenants.
And finally, the Home Buying Power app (iPhone, $1.99) helps you calculate how much house you can really afford.
