My Favorite New Tech for the New Year

My Favorite New Tech for the New YearIs it just me, or do you get really excited when you find a new tech campaign on sites such as Kickstarter or Indiegogo that really captures your attention?  As of late, it may seem as though EVERYONE has a new gadget they are trying to build or new app they are attempting to launch.  It can be a bit overwhelming at times. So when I come across an innovative concept that makes me stop and think for a bit, I truly get jazzed.

With a new year approaching, I thought it would be fun to check out some of the concepts in technology that are currently seeking funding for production.  Some of these projects may go on to be huge successes, while others may never see the light of day.  But wherever they end up (in consumers’ hands or just in their memories), I think it is wonderful knowing that every innovative idea truly has a chance of becoming a reality.

So here’s to a 2013 full of new, creative, fun, helpful and important gadgets!

Is there a tech launch that you are excited to see in the coming year? Share the details in the comments below!

Whooz?

This is not so much an innovative piece of technology, more so than a fun way to spice up your bland tech gear. These adorable vinyl Apple charger labels are both fun and functional, helping to keep all of your cords organized and original. Simple, yet effective and quirky too.

One Second Video App1 Second Everyday App

Instagram brought on the revolution of chronicling your everyday through photos, and this app will do the same with video. It’s all part of the trend to capture life moments, even the simplest ones, and sort them into a virtual scrapbook. Some may be sick of it and others may be ready for more. Either way, this app caught my eye and got me thinking about the one second snapshots of my own life.

I am a HUGE proponent of supplying cost effective, high end tools and gadgets to general consumers. This 3D printer does just that, by bringing the professional quality on a consumer’s budget.
