Gadgets for Booklovers

    • Growing up, I was one of those kids that asked their mother to take them to the library instead of the park.  To this day, I would sooner choose a trip to the bookstore over a movie, dinner out or a day of shopping. And just last Christmas my sister bestowed me with the most magical gift of all: an embossing set that reads “From the Library of Stephanie Todaro.”  Needless to say, I am a book nerd.

    While not everyone has such an deep love of books like myself, there are a lot of fun gadgets and products out there that make the obsession a lot more fun! I’ve rounded up some of my favorite booklover items this week, from apps to lamps.

    Kobo, Free
    Take your love of reading social with this app. You can track your reading habits and those of your friends and also get access to more than 2.5 million books, publications and more.

      Good Reads is a great website and app were you can keep track of the books you’ve read and the books you want to read. You can review books, read reviews other people have written, create reading groups, and keep up-to-date on your friends’ statuses. One of my favorite features of the app is the ability to scan a book’s barcode and add the book to your list.
