If you are a graphic designer, illustrator or artist, this app is a wonder. Adobe Ideas allows you to not only create professional quality vector graphics wherever you are, but you can also sync your Adobe Creative Cloud to transfer any projects you are currently working on in your Adobe Suite directly to your mobile device. It really is your art database on the go!
This app is pretty unique because it lets you manipulate real-time visuals seen through your iPad’s camera. So whatever it is that you are taking a picture of, you can create a “painting” of that image with the simple drag of your finger across the screen. I really recommend checking out the incredible tutorial video on their site right here. Blew me away! Now everyone can truly paint a picture of what they see.
Stephanie Todaro has joined the Design*Sponge team to work on special projects and oversee our weekly Biz Ladies and City Guides columns. Although born in Chicago and raised in Los Angeles, Stephanie has been lucky enough to live all over the US, including DC and New York, and continues to travel the world with hopes to one day settle down somewhere in Europe. She earned her master’s degree in journalism from New York University in 2008 and now lives in LA where she works as the Director of Development for several celebrity websites and blogs about her adorable pup, Mr. Harvey. She has a slight (actually, major) obsession with all things stationery-related and likes to collect garden gnomes. To see more of Stephanie’s work, check out her blog HouseofHarvey.com.

Mixel is a simple, fun, and addictive app for creating digital collages. What makes it great and unique is that it has an integrated social network, so that any collage you make is available to others to remix. The result is that you get great remix threads around a theme or element. Mixel also allows you to keep your creations private or viewable to only those you specify. The Mixel community is diverse, from dabblers and amateurs to artists working in other mediums, with people from a variety of countries around the world. The result is an always inspiring and interesting mix of styles, themes and images. I’ve been a member of the Mixel community since November when it launched and I love it! The Mixel app is FREE. For more info and examples, see their website at http://mixel.cc/
Hey there, I think your blog might be having bworser compatibility issues. When I look at your blog in Firefox, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, amazing blog!
I’m impressed, I must say. Really relray do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
