I would be lying if I said that looks have no influence on whether I buy something. Presentation goes a long way for me, and most of my impulse buys and splurge purchases can be blamed on pretty packaging. Whether it’s a new novel, a face soap, an olive oil–if I know nothing about the line of products before me, I’m definitely going to gravitate towards the one with clever, beautiful, thoughtfully designed packaging. We often take for granted the products we use everyday, but you’d be amazed at how much there is to learn about color, form, and composition– all from a toothpaste box or soda can. I’ve rounded up 50 of my favorite package designs to share with you today, in the hopes that you find your next favorite product, or your next great source of visual inspiration. Enjoy!
