Apps & Gear for Pet Lovers

Pet_Apps_Pet_Lovers.jpgA few of us over at Design*Sponge have the reputation of being crazy cat ladies. After a brief period of denying it, we now wear the moniker with pride. In fact, we like to think of our entire team as being a bit cuckoo when it comes to pets, and we have the pictures to prove it. One of the greatest things about owning a pet is being the recipient of their affection, whether it’s an enthusiastic wag of the tail upon our arrival, or a purr and a nuzzle when we sit down on the sofa. Luckily for us, it’s fairly easy to repay the favor and provide the essentials: food, shelter, and love. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite accessories, beds, toys, gadgets, and apps that go above and beyond. These should not only keep you in good standing with your four legged companions, but hopefully provide you with some of those crazy adorable moments that only the most contented cat or dog can provide. Perhaps it will render you guilty of over-pampering, but I doubt your fuzzy friends will mind. Enjoy! Whether it’s a battered sock or your old sweater, we want to know–what is the one item that your pet adores most?
