25 Gadgets for Globetrotters

Design_Globetrotter.jpgAs the time for summer vacations rapidly approaches, many people take to the skies for trips abroad. While many of us limit our long distance travel to once or twice a year for numerous reasons — schedules, budgets, interests, etc. — traveling to far and away places may actually be the standard commute for many business professionals and adventurists out there. I decided to gather 25 of my favorite gadgets for those globetrotting individuals, who might be inclined to call airports and hotels their home.

As the number of electronics we use on a daily basis increases, so does the amount of stuff we need to carry around with us. Luckily, there are some amazingly portable, sleek tech accessories available to help us power our computers, play our media, and help us orient ourselves in a new city or country. For those traveling alone or looking for a bit of extra security in foreign locations, there are some nifty gadgets that can sound alarms, conceal your cash and credit cards in your computer (!), and even keep a digital “eye” on your cell phone for you.

Regardless of the length of your journey or the frequency of your trip-taking, these gadgets will make life on the road or in the sky a bit easier and free of stress. Here’s to safe and happy travels this spring!
Has anyone discovered a travel gadgets or app the can’t live without? I’d love to
hear about it!
