Best Tech Gifts for the Guy Who Has It All

Clever22DadaPOV.jpgLiving in the digital age where people are connected 24/7 and buy what
they want when they want it– it’s hard to find the right gift for guy, I
tell my wife that all the time. My wife will ask what I want– my answer
is not unique when I say sex. It’s not serious, but here are my serious
picks for the 10 best tech gifts for the guy who has everything, with 3
bonus gifts for the guy who REALLY has everything!

1) Samsung LN46C750 46-Inch 1080p 3D LCD HDTV

The latest and greatest in TV is 3D. Of course there are rumors that we’re years away from 3D TVs that don’t require glasses, but if your guy has everything, in the mean time get him the best of what’s out there.

2360kinect.jpg2) Xbox 360 with Kinect
Just released this holiday season is the platform from Microsoft that allows no hands-on controller. You are the actual controller, and the Xbox 360 with kinect transports you into the game between dozens of sensors & cameras.

3) Apple iPad 64GB WiFi
Sure you have the Kindle, Barnes & Noble color nook, but the one that does more than what just a reader can is the one for the guy who has everything. It’ll replace the portable DVD player, and might even replace the laptop/netbook depending on what work is really being done.

NikonClever.jpg4) Nikon D7000 DSLR
The latest from Nikon is in short supply and that’s mainly because it’s a killer camera. If you don’t want a semiprofessional camera, take a look at the Nikon D5000. For less than half the price you will of course lose some features, but if you’re just starting into the DSLR world this is a great choice.

3playsport.jpg5) Kodak Playsport
It’s not the newest generation of personal digital video cameras but it is one of just a few that you can take swimming. Not only will it take digital pictures under water but it’ll also shoot 1080i video!

Great list. I have to laugh though, because I’m a woman and want at least half the items on it!

Of course I asked for my entire list… I did get one or two things off of it… and I already owned one or two things… :)

and the great thing about many of these gifts are they’re universal… tech gifts rarely are for just men or women (unless you’re talking about a pink/red camera or something) Have fun shopping!

I have the PlaySport (great little portable video cam) and we bought the picture frame earlier this year. Love both of those pics! I also like the wifi SD card. This list isn’t just for guys. ;)

Fabulous list! I always have trouble shopping for the men in my life. LOVE the lantern and totally plan on getting it now! We always end up camping and realizing we don’t have any more of the little thingys you have to put into the lantern. Oy!
