i like both types. it also depends.. if im piynag 60 bucks for a game i like it to be online so i can keep playing it and playing with friends. i personally love online co-op campaign games like halo, gears, resident evil, fable, they give u a challenge so you can beat them on like legendary for achievements or trophys. offline games are also good. i normally buy them if there cheaper, i dont think its worth 60 bucks for you to play it once and go oh alright well what now . you get to trade it in for 20 bucks and lose 40 bucks. the best games are games that are original, like you feel like it a movie with a really good plot and stuff, also old games i used to play are awesome. nothing like going back and beating lord of the rings and all those old games.

    Nice!

Now how about, for when 3G is too slow or unavailable (and especially for people like me who are too cheap/poor to pay for 3G service), 10 Apps to enhance your offline *capabilities*… Examples:
    - DropBox, sync your files across PC, Mac, Linux, and phones, and even have them web-accessible from a public computer. Offline bonus? You have all your most important documents/spreadsheets/music/photos/whatever with you. First 2Gb free.
    - offline G-mail, all your e-mail, searchable even offline. I’m not sure if it’s for iPhone or Droid yet, but the N900 does it great.
    - podcasts? news downloaders-so-you-can-read-it-later?

    Others?

This would also be great for people who can only spend a certain amount of *time* on-line on their phones. Sync up everything, download important updates and voila, you are more capable offline.
