5 iPhone Apps to Get You Through the Holidays

It’s that crazed travel, shopping, family filled time of year, and if anything, that means a lot of waiting, standing around, multitasking, and it never hurts to be over prepared with forms of amusement ready for kids and adults of all ages (yourself included). So, here are 5 of my favorite iPhone apps I can’t imagine living without this holiday season.

- so far my favorite photo editor on the iPhone ~ and if you’re going
to shoot and share on the go, it’s definitely nice to tweak things like
the levels before launching them out into the world! Really it’s just a
nice thing to do for all the folks who end up in your holiday photos
before you start tagging them.

Really? Playing games is all you need to get you through the holidays? Because I could use a cooking scheduler (where you put in what you’re making and how long it takes to prepare and cook, and it provides push notifications like “Time to Start the Potatoes”).

Or how about a gift list app, so that you don’t forget to take Aunt Ethyl’s gift to the party where she’s going to be?

Or how about iCaroler? Or the Black Friday app (there are lots of deals to be had this week)? Or a recipe app with recipes for egg nog and hot buttered rum so I don’t kill all my relatives?

If you think the magic of the season happens magically, chances are that you’re ignoring the very hard work of someone nearby.

So enjoy your holidays, and be sure to thank the person who is keeping track of the gifts and the cooking and the booze for you!!
